This Jet Works Yamaha performance Plate will fit all 1200 155hp Carbed/1300cc fuel injected engines.
This plate will take the place of the stock converter, and deliver the best overall low, mid, peak horsepower. Plate promotes better midrange and upper-range pull and also reduce engine compartment temperatures created by the stock honeycomb converter.
The exhaust exit is centrally located to keep the velocity of the exited exhaust gases. Exhaust hole is closely matched to stock OEM exhaust exit diameter to keep proper back pressure throughout the pipe and help pull the most potential out of the exhaust system.
The plate will increase the reliabilty of the entire stock exhaust assembly and will come with the sensor chip that eliminates warning light on the dash.
We highly recommend replacing the stock converter due to the damages internally to the engine in the event of converter honeycomb separating and blocking the exhaust flow. This blockage will cause combustion chamber to overheat and detonate piston to catastophic failures.
